    150 MPG Diesel Production Car

The all new Loremo (Low Resistance Mobile) car is going into production in 2010. With a price tag around $20,000.00 it should be affordable for most people who are looking for a cost effective form of transportation. The four seat car gets an impressive 150 miles per gallon with out the need for fancy electrical systems or batteries that are seen in the modern hybrid technology.

I am not a fan of hybrid technology due to there expense and complex systems. The usual hybrid system consists of two powertrains (more things to break) and expensive battery packs (increased pollution, cost, and weight). Technology should be working to make things more simple and longer lasting. Diesel is a proven technology that will last for many miles. Hybrid technology is unproven and they don't last as long as diesels. The car industry is working diligently to produce disposable cars for higher profits, and as long as the market place continues to buy into their propaganda our transportation, environmental, and financial problems will continue

The car is powered by a simple 2 cylinder turbo diesel engine. With a very light weight frame it is an efficient vehicle that provides for basic traveling needs. Hopefully this car will be sold in the USA, although as history has shown, Americans are not offered the choice of diesel vehicles seen in other countries. Maybe this car will help wake America up to being a more efficient country and learn the benefits of less waste. With new technologies coming to market it is no longer necessary for us to have to drive a 2000+ pound car that gets 20mpg to the store to buy a gallon of milk, unless of course you enjoy pissing money away. In which case I would be happy to charge you more money than it cost to do so, and I would tell everyone around how you are such an awesome person.
